Quick and Easy Holiday Cards- Stenciled Snowflakes

8

Welcome Back to another Quick and Easy Holiday project and video!

Today’s project features the quickest and easiest card I’ve ever made. These stenciled snowflake cards take just minutes and the design is perfect for both cards and tags!

I show you how to make one card in the video but I actually completed three of these in about 15 minutes.

The one that I make in the video is this one:

I used a blend of Ocean Mist and Applemint inks to create this snowflake.

Here is another version of that card:

This one is a blend of Ocean Mist, Lovely Lavender and Bubblegum Pink inks.

And here is the final card:

This one is a blend of moonlit fog (VERY LIGHT) and jelly bean green inks and I used the same brush so it makes it look a little more gray.

It’s so much fun to peel the stencil back and reveal the blend. It’s important to make sure you stick to one side of the color wheel and not try to blend red and green or yellow and purple because you will end up with brown in between. Stick to colors that are close like blues and greens, pinks and purples and oranges and reds for the best looking blends.

Supplies used:

Stamps- Christmas Silhouettes and Winter Hugs (Coming back in stock soon!)

Stencils- Stellar Snowflake, Snowflake Mandala

Ink- Black Onyx for the greetings. (See each photo for colors used in individual cards)

Card stock- Heavy White, Black Onyx, Layering White
