Holiday Fireplace Pop-up Card

4

Today, Melanie Muenchinger is here on the blog with a new project and video for you! In this video, she makes this sweet pop-up  card featuring her new Pallet Christmas stamp set along with her Perfect Pallets!

From Melanie:

Today I’m going to show you how to make an adorable little pop up scene for the holidays with my Pallet Christmas and Perfect Pallets stamp sets. It’s easy and fun and can be adapted to a portrait or landscape style layout to use with either length of board from Perfect Pallets. Have fun adding little details to make it like your own living room, your recipient’s, or the cozy home of your dreams! I share tips for how to make and adhere the pop up mechanism (1 sheet of cardstock will be enough to create 4 fireplaces!) and adding detail to the scene. I can’t wait to see your take on this, please post your creationsNote: I used layering weight cardstock on the pop up part, which is why you see the coloring bleed through to the back when I turn it over. Be sure to use the heavy base weight for anything you will see both sides of on your project! 🙂

My nieces and nephews (who are in their 30’s) love cards like this. Thank you.

A question: is the acrylic ruler still sold?

Blessed Be for the great ideas Gina and her talented friends roll out and share.
