Blue and Silver Holiday Glitz

26

Welcome back!

Today, I have a few projects to show you featuring our new Brilliant Blue and Silver Glitz Glitter Gel!

We are having an instagram hop today featuring projects made with these new Gliter Gels. If you are on Instagram, you can find me @ginakdesigns. Or you can visit my link HERE.

If not, I wanted to make sure you didn’t miss out so here are three projects I made. ๐Ÿ™‚

The first card uses the Stellar Snowflake stencil along with the Brilliant Blue Glitz. I used one of the sentiment from the Folk Art Snowflakes stamp set as well.

I am so jazzed about this color blue! It’s so royal and beautiful, perfect for all kinds of holiday cards and beyond!

In my second card, I used the Wishing You Joy Stamp-n-Stencil system to create these ornaments.

I used silver Glitz to create the sparkle.

And in my final card, I used the coordinating stencil in the Wishing You Joy collection to create some royal blue snowflakes and used a greeting from the Chistmas Silhouettes stamp set.

I hope you like these cards and I hope you’ll give the Glitz Glitter Gel a try!

You can find all the colors HERE.

Make it a great day and Happy Stamping!
Hugs,

Gina K.

Beautiful cards and designs Gina. How about joining us with Chanukkah designs and colors. I’d love to be able to buy a beautiful Star of David or how about a classic and beautiful Mennorah…I’m sure there would be a lot of interest in these designs and stamps and dies…have a beautiful day Gina and team

Love them all! Regarding the first one, what color blue is your layering piece. What type of cardstock for each layer? Thanks so much!

I used Blue Raspberry for my layering piece. The snowflake is on layering white, the card base is heavy weight white. ๐Ÿ™‚

Love these! I tried to order the stencils but it said they are out of stock so I asked you to notify me. Any idea if they will be available soon enough for the holidaze? Thanks for the inspiration and technique!

Love the first card and wonder just how you get the image so crisp. Iโ€™ve purchased a few new stencils lately but havenโ€™t found the right way to use them. I read that you used a dark background paper, but then what? Glue then sprinkle the glitter?

I used Glitter Gel over this stencil. The Gel has the Glitter in it!

Yes, you use it just like any paste or gel! Here is a video where I use Glitz with our Stamp-n-stencil. But you can use it just like any paste through a stencil! https://youtu.be/g4C_h9KSU9w

Stunning cards! I love these new colors. I am hoping you will bring back Holiday Pine and Pumpkin Spice. I wasn’t able to order those on time and would love to see them available year round like the other colors. I have to budget and I miss things as a result.

Love the gel colours. The problem is that after using them they are starting to harden even though the containers have been tightly closed. Is there a way to soften them. I have purchased all the colours and that would be an expensive waste.

I’m not sure Beth. Mine haven’t done that. I wonder if maybe Thermoweb has some advice on that?
