Quick and Easy Holiday Card Series- Oh Christmas Tree

Welcome back!

Today, I have a new video and blog post for you and it’s the next card in my Quick and Easy Holiday Series. In this card, I show you how to make this Christmas Tree card using embossing powder to create tons of texture. There are some tips and tricks throughout the video as well!

Here is a close up look at the card:

Supplies:

Card stock- Heavy Base weight white, Red Velvet, Grass Green, Vellum

Ink- VersaMark (Or you can use GKD Embossing and Watermark Ink)

Stamps- Christmas Silhouettes, Winter Hugs, Petite Flourish Background stamp

Dies- Christmas Silhouettes, Double Stitched Ovals

Fine detail gold embossing powder, Fine detail clear embossing powder, Wagner heat tool, embossign magic pad, adhesive dot runner, GKD white foam tape

 

Measurements:

White Card Base- 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ and folded in half

Red Layer- 3 3/4″ X 5″

Scraps for Tree

Vellum- emboss, cut with paper cutter and then follow instructions in video.

    Thank you so much for the wonderful easy to follow instructions. Just made this card for my Husband who is heading into some chemo treatment. Under the Merry Christmas I have a stamp that says “Love You Forever”
