Hello!

Today, we have two videos for you!

First, Lisa Hetrick is up on the blog featuring a new card and video. Here is her card project:

From Lisa:

“Today, I’m sharing a washy-washy watercolor floral video AND, I’m sharing a fun technique for cutting and creating a 3D sentiment embellishment for your card.

I’m taking a deeper dive into how you can use liquid watercolors to create fun washy watercolor effects for your card and paper crafting projects.

Hi Gina – I haven’t been able to open the last 3-4 videos. I click on the arrow and it acts like it’s going to open, then goes back to the original page. After that I cannot click the red arrow again.

Hi Billie, I am not sure why that is happening! You may want to restart your computer. It seems to all be working on our end. Maybe try a different browser?

Loved the ideal cards ladies!! I loved how Lisa used the cutting ruler to make the banner 3-d.
I also was very impressed with how well the ink went on over the stencil using the new brushes in Mindy’s video. Thanks for keeping us updated on the latest techniques and strategies. Your end product is lovely due to you knowledge and skills.

Hi Mindy: I enjoyed your tutorial. This may be a dumb question but when you blend the yellow over the pink, does it contaminate your marker? I’ve seen this many times before but did have the “nerve” to ask. Thanks so much!

I can answer this for Mindy. 🙂 You can blend alcohol markers together without the worry of contamination. 🙂

I just love these cards done by Lisa H and Mindy. The Butterflies look so real with just blending three colors. I really like that Sweet Petunia Cut A Line tool. I’ll be ordering that soon. Thanks for such beautiful ideas.

Gorgeous card Lisa and from the look of how you use the Cut-align it looks a great tool. Thank you so much for showing.

Awesome cards Mindy. I love the background of the first one, that has such dimension I wonder if that is because of the use of thos great brushes, it’s just stunning.
Thank you so much for showing your inspiration.

I love the butterfly from this stamp set. It really makes the card outstanding, especially with the stencil done in the light stone colour. Beautiful!
