Trying out InLinkz for our challenges!

9

Hi Everyone!

Today, I thought I would try an app that I have seen on so many challenge blogs. It’s called InLinkz and it’s a great way to share your cards when you play along with challenges. So many blogs use it and it sure looks pretty! It’s a great way to see all of the challenge cards in one place, right here on my blog on the monthly challenge page.

Each month, the challenge hostess will send me his or her challenge and I will add it to my blog along with the InLinkz app so you can share your challenge cards with all of us. And then, I will announce the winners here on my blog at the top of the post once the challenge has ended. It will be easy to find the challenge, cards, and winners all in one place.

The other cool thing about InLinks is that it will link all of the viewers to your blog if you share your photo from there. They can click on your photo and see what else you’ve been posting. If you don’t have a blog, you can just upload a photo right into our gallery and link it from there. On InLinkz, it will ask you for your URL. Right click on the photo in the gallery and copy the address there. It’s pretty cool!

Today, I thought I would share one of my favorite cards from 2018 and if you’d like to share your favorite card, I welcome you to try the InLinks below. Hopefully, this will be a fun and organized way to host our monthly challenges and you will be able to share your beautiful creations with us!

I had a lot of fun creating in 2018. One of my favorite cards was one I made for a video using the Stippled Flowers stamp set by my daughter Alicia. I felt like this card was a bit experimental when I started added white gel pen dots everywhere, but I really liked it when it was done so it was definitely one of my 2018 favorites.

If you would like to see how this card was made, you can watch the video here:ย VIDEO.

My favorite gel pen for this technique is the Signo Uniball White Gel Pen.

So what’s your favorite card you made in 2018? Share it in the InLinkz below. I’d love to see it!

Hugs,

Gina K.

HERE is the link where you can add your card and see everyone else’s!

Hi Gina, it’s so much different from the old site, but I like it very much. Do I have to have a blog to enter challenges? I don’t know how to do it, but still would like to join in on the challenges. Do I have to join the link to Inlinkz.

No, you don’t need a blog at all. You can enter just by clicking the InLinks link and uploading your card for the challenge. You should add your name in the space given for typing something. This way, if you win, we know it’s you! ๐Ÿ™‚

Am trying to upload my favorite 2018 card that I made. I can’t seem to get the URL address right. Is there a secret to it?

Wherever you host the photo, right click on the photo and copy the image address. That is the URL.
